Recession doesn't mean that families shouldn't eat out. Many bay area restaurants have promotions when it comes to kids - kids can eat free with adult meal purchase. We have compiled a list of such restaurants where your kids can eat for free.
Mondays
- Hola's Belmont - kids under 12 eat free after 3pm
- Cup N Saucer Family Restaurant (San Jose) -kids eat free with paying adult
Tuesdays
- Coco's Bakery Restaurants - Kids 10 and under eat free after 4pm, with adult meal purchase.
- Chevy's - kids eat free all day Tuesday with purchase of any regular price entree
- Pasta Pomodoro- kids eat free all day
- Denny's - kids eat free Tuesday from 4pm to 10pm. Some locations offer kids eat free on Saturday nights as well.
- IHOP Belmont - kids eat free after 5pm with adult meal purchase
- IHOP Foster City - kids eat free after 4pm with adult meal purchase
- Applebee's - kids eat for $.99 on Tuesdays after 4pm with adult meal purchase
- San Remos Pizza in San Carlos has "Ladies Night" on Tuesday's - moms eat free
Wednesdays
- Coco's Bakery Restaurants - Kids 10 and under eat free after 4pm, with adult meal purchase.
- Hobee's (Palo Alto, Stanford, Sunnyvale, Campbell at the Pruneyard)-- kids eat free after 5pm with adult meal purchase
Fridays
- IHOP (5403 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara) -- kids eat free with adult meal purchase
Saturdays
- Dennys (not all locations), kids eat free from 4-10pm with adult meal purchase.
- El Torito Kids under 12 eat free per adult entree purchase until 3pm
Sundays
- IHOP (5403 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara) -- kids eat free with adult meal purchase

Armadillo Willy's (all locations): Sundays after 5:00 pm, kids eat for half price
